Last year, the ladies donated over $6,000. Since their first donation in 2012, the PRS has received over $12,000. The final contribution for this year has yet to be received, but knowing the generosity of this league, we know it will be great.
In 2012, the league decided to keep their donation “local,” helping” the men and women of our community with the unique needs of those recently diagnosed with breast cancer.
The Pink Ribbon supports the men and women of Lake, Porter, Jasper, and Newton Counties only by underwriting mammograms, wigs, prostheses, paid gift cards, etc. To date, the Pink Ribbon has returned over $250,000 to local individuals and other breast cancer organizations to help the cause.
Thanks to our lady golfers and their supporters for their continued efforts to help those from our community who are beginning their journey to becoming lifelong survivors of breast cancer…..
